Did you know that books exposed to harmful UV radiation deteriorate over time? Pages turn yellow, colors fade. In a place like Mediateka, this is a serious problem. The modern, mostly glazed structure of the building has an impact on visitors impressive, but unfortunately it does not protect the collections – which is important.
However, the SONTE film brought a solution. Because it blocks 99% of UV and 80% of IR, by cutting off harmful radiation, it protects both books and visitors complex.
So Mediateka joined the REVOLUTION. Staff can manage privacy in a modern way, collections are secure, and in the near future thanks to projection films will be shown on the building’s back facade.
