The messages we receive most often are short and to the point:

Can I get a quote?”

What’s the price per square meter?”

How much does it cost for a standard window?”

And that’s completely understandable. Anyone interested in SONTE film wants to know the price right away. The thing is, there’s no such thing as a single, universal price for liquid crystal film. And the so-called “standard window”? If it ever really existed, it was probably back in the era of prefab homes and catalog-style house designs.

We understand that not having a clear price on the website can be frustrating. That’s why instead of saying “it depends,” we’d rather show you exactly what it depends on. And what information you can provide to get a quote, easily and quickly.

It’s a short list. You can prepare the answers in just a few minutes.

What do we ask for?

  1. Your contact details

  2. The installation location

  3. Approximate dimensions of the glass

  4. A photo of the windows

  5. Whether the windows are fixed, openable, or sliding

Below, we explain why each of these details matters and how they help us prepare an accurate quote.

1. Contact details

To prepare an accurate quote, we need your contact information. Nothing unusual, it simply helps us work efficiently and avoid misunderstandings. To put it plainly: it’s common sense.

Here’s what we need:

  • Your name, so we know who the quote is for and how to save it in our system

  • Your phone number, in case we need to clarify something quickly, a single question can often make a big difference

  • Your email address, as it’s the clearest and most convenient way to send over the offer, files, or visualizations

Messages on social media let us know you’re interested, but they’re not ideal for sending quotes. Facebook doesn’t always tell us who we’re talking to, and important details can easily get lost in Messenger.

Providing your contact information doesn’t commit you to anything, it simply allows us to treat your inquiry seriously and respond with full professionalism.

2. Location

It may seem like a simple detail, but it actually tells us much more than you might think:

  • It helps us estimate installation and travel costs. In some areas we operate weekly, while in others we need to organize everything from scratch.

  • It allows us to give you a realistic installation date, we don’t just throw out random availability.

  • It tells us whether the job requires just one technician with basic tools or a larger team with additional equipment, like scaffolding or specialized access to power in hard-to-reach places.

It’s just one line in your message, but it makes your entire quote instantly more accurate and specific.

3. Glass dimensions

To prepare an initial quote, we need the approximate dimensions of the glass surfaces. They don’t have to be exact, just a rough width and height for each pane where SONTE film would be applied.

If you’re unsure how to take the measurements, we’ve put together a short guide to help you out.

Why is this important?

  • It allows us to estimate the surface area of the film, which directly affects the material cost.

  • It helps us understand the complexity of the project, whether it involves one large pane, several smaller ones, or a custom layout.

  • It helps us plan the technical team’s work, including the time needed for installation and any special preparations required.

If you’re not able to take the measurements yourself, we can offer a paid on-site assessment. If the project goes ahead, the cost of that visit will be fully deducted from your final order total.

Many clients choose this option from the start, for various reasons, lack of time, tools, or simply for convenience. That’s completely understandable and absolutely doable.

And if you’re still in the construction phase and have access to architectural plans with glass dimensions, feel free to send them over. It makes our job much easier and speeds up the quoting process.

4. A photo of the glazing

For someone not involved in installations, a photo might not seem that important. But for our technicians, it can reveal details that are hard to describe in words, details that affect how the installation is done, what components are needed, and how long it will take.

It doesn’t have to be a technical photo or perfectly framed. A regular snapshot from your phone is enough, as long as it shows the full glass surface and any nearby surroundings that might affect the installation.

5. Type of glazing

If the windows or doors where the film will be installed are openable, tilting, sliding, or hinged, please let us know. It’s not a problem at all, but it is an important technical detail.

Take the first step, we’ll handle the rest

To prepare a tailored quote for you, we need a few basic details. Without them, we can only give rough estimates, and that’s not how we like to do things.

It’s a bit like ordering a car, the brand alone isn’t enough. You need to know the trim level, engine type, color, pickup location… It’s the same with SONTE film. Only once we know the specifics can we provide a reliable and accurate quote.

You can send the information to hello@sonte.eu or share it by phone at +48 573 569 713.
