Hygiene during the pandemic – how to keep the office clean?

- Cleaning and disinfection should be done with disposable gloves, aprons and masks. Immediately after use, they should be disposed of.
- A detergent or soap and water solution removes particles that can carry COVID-19 on surfaces. We should do this before disinfection, as it makes it more effective in removing the accumulated virus and then killing it altogether.
- One way to clean surfaces is to use disinfectant wipes, but keep in mind that to properly disinfect surfaces, you should only clean one item at a time, using enough wipes so that the surface remains wet for 4 minutes.
- Do not mix cleaning agents.
- Clean and disinfect tactile surfaces in common spaces daily, e.g., tables, chairs, doorknobs, light switches, and standard electronic devices and equipment.
